Helping World Art Dubai Turn 400+ Exhibitor Stories Into 3.7 Million in Reach

World Art Dubai had a social media challenge most events never face: before the doors opened, more than 400 participating artists, galleries and exhibitors each needed their own moment in the feed.

Click2View created a campaign that gave every exhibitor visibility without losing sight of the wider event story. The resulting campaign generated 3.7 million in total reach, 6.9 million impressions and more than 15,000 new followers.

BRIEF

World Art Dubai needed a social media campaign that could represent the full scale of the exhibition while building wider interest in the event.

The campaign needed to give every participating artist, gallery and exhibitor meaningful visibility before the event, while also promoting World Art Dubai as a destination in its own right. Once the exhibition opened, the channels needed to capture its atmosphere in real time and give online audiences a reason to follow along.

After working with Click2View on the previous edition, Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) returned for another campaign. The goal was not simply to keep the pages active. It was to manage an exceptionally demanding publishing programme without allowing the wider World Art Dubai story to disappear beneath the volume.

The scale of the exhibition created three connected production challenges: volume, consistency and the shift to live coverage.

The first was volume. With more than 400 exhibitors expecting promotion before the event, the publishing schedule could reach five posts in a single day. Every participant needed visibility, but the feed could not feel like a repetitive directory of artworks.

The second was consistency. Much of the pre-event content relied on images submitted directly by participating artists. These arrived in different dimensions, formats and levels of production quality. Because the assets depicted original artworks, Click2View could not simply alter or heavily edit them to force everything into a uniform visual treatment.

Once the event opened, the nature of the work changed completely.

The team had to move from months of carefully scheduled content into live publishing, capturing strong moments onsite, creating reels and stories quickly, and keeping pace with an exhibition involving hundreds of participants.

The operational challenge was significant: make sure nobody was missed, without letting the scale of the task overwhelm the audience.

RESPONSE

We treated the campaign as two distinct content modes, each with a different job.

Before the event: organise the scale

The pre-event programme focused on giving participating artists and galleries clear, equitable visibility.

Artist showcases were supported by event information, promotional carousels and selected reels, creating variation between the required exhibitor features and the wider World Art Dubai story.

The team managed the publishing workflow closely enough to ensure that every required artist promotion went live before the exhibition opened.

During the event: show why it mattered

Once onsite, the content became faster, more immediate and more human.

The team shifted the editorial focus from individual exhibitor promotion to the experience of attending World Art Dubai. Highlight reels captured the exhibition’s scale and visual variety, while live stories and spontaneous social content brought its people, activity and atmosphere into the feed.

This was where the campaign moved beyond promotion and became event storytelling. Rather than simply announcing that World Art Dubai was happening, the onsite content showed audiences what they were missing, and gave them a reason to follow the pages during the exhibition. This made the social channels a live window onto the exhibition floor.

OUTCOME

The campaign generated:

  • 3,769,370 total reach
  • 6,934,401 total impressions
  • 109,564 total engagements
  • 2.47% average engagement rate
  • 15,685 new followers
  • 148,484 total followers across platforms

More than 400 exhibitors received the visibility promised to them, while the live event coverage gave the wider campaign momentum beyond the individual artist posts.

Together, the pre-event publishing programme and onsite coverage balanced the needs of individual exhibitors with the broader goal of growing attention around World Art Dubai.

Click2View turned an unusually complex content-management task into a cohesive campaign that delivered measurable reach, engagement and audience growth, without leaving any of the event’s 400-plus exhibitors behind.
