BRIEF

UPS commissioned Click2View to create a 60-second video for the Trade Winds ASEAN Sponsorship event, aimed at mid-sized U.S. exporters exploring growth opportunities in Southeast Asia.

But the brief went beyond a single event video.

UPS also wanted an evergreen regional content asset that could continue showing why ASEAN is an attractive growth market, and why UPS should be the partner helping businesses navigate cross-border trade.

From the start, the video needed to be flexible enough for wider use across platforms and markets. The original brief called for an English version first, with localised subtitle versions to be added later, making adaptability and future localisation part of the job from day one.

RESPONSE

The challenge was to create a short-form video that could do several jobs at once.

It needed to work for a specific event audience, communicate UPS’s value clearly in under 60 seconds.

It also had to support future content localisation, rather than tie the story too tightly to one moment, market, or set of time-sensitive claims.

That meant distilling a large amount of information into a concise narrative while also thinking ahead about regional reuse.

The production schedule added pressure too. A tight turnaround, limited review room and multiple rounds of script, storyboard and animation refinement were all happening in parallel.

Consolidated feedback and careful prioritisation were essential to keeping the project on track.

PROCESS & COLLABORATION

Click2View approached the project by planning the video as an evergreen regional asset first, then shaping it to serve the Trade Winds event as one use case within that broader purpose.

Rather than relying too heavily on specific stats, product names, or claims that could date quickly, the story focused on more durable messages: ASEAN’s growth potential, the complexity of cross-border trade and UPS’s role as a trusted logistics and trade partner.

By keeping the narrative clear, modular and less dependent on highly time-bound details, the team created a regional video asset that could more easily support subtitled localisations and wider market use.

As the script, storyboard and animation evolved, Click2View balanced strong visuals with factual clarity and careful message-to-visual alignment. This ensured the final piece remained both commercially useful and adaptable.

OUTCOME

The final video supported UPS at the Trade Winds event, then continued to be used at other events and in online and in-person sales meetings as an educational and sales enablement asset for exporters looking towards ASEAN.

By shaping the core story for flexibility early, the team created a regional content asset that could travel further, stay relevant longer and support adaptation across markets more easily.
