BRIEF

YCH Group, Singapore’s largest home-grown supply chain solutions company, marked its 70th anniversary in 2025 with a commemorative song, We Rise Above.

The brief was to create a music video for the digital launch, as well as to be showcased at the company’s annual gala.

Our role was to turn that into a film with narrative weight, not just visual polish.

RESPONSE

This needed to do more than look impressive.

The film had to honour YCH’s history, feel meaningful as a milestone piece, and hold together clearly from start to finish.

It also had to blend live action and traditional animation in a way that felt seamless rather than visually stitched together.

PROCESS & COLLABORATION

We created a cinematic hybrid music video combining live-action footage with traditional frame-by-frame animation to bring clarity, symbolism and emotional impact to YCH’s story.

Click2View handled the project from creative development and pre-production through a three-day live-action shoot. We incorporated hybrid and full 2D animation sequences, as well as post-production across editing, compositing, colour, sound design and motion graphics.

The hybrid approach gave the film more expressive range. Live action brought presence and cinematic texture. Animation helped visualise bigger ideas around heritage, ambition and continuity with greater clarity and control.

The client also said our proposal stood out for its storytelling and bold creative conceptualisation. They appreciated the clarity of the pre-production materials, which helped with their internal alignment and approvals process.

OUTCOME

Beyond the finished film, the outcome was a piece of ambitious work the client felt proud to stand behind.

The final deliverables included the master music video, along with alternative vocal and clean versions for different use cases.
